Andreea, the owner of A&D Luxury Candles, finds that creating her hand-crafted candles is calming and relaxing. Andreea lives in London with her son and husband, who is not only supportive of her candle hobby, but was originally the one who wanted to make their own candles.
Andreea’s sister-in-law is also a candle-maker. When she talked about her craft and showed her hand-crafted candles to her brother, he was fascinated. Her candles were gorgeous, with lovely colors and varying shapes. Seeing his sister’s gorgeous creations, Andreea’s husband began contemplating the idea of crafting candles.
When he decided to try his hand at creating candles, Andreea joined in. She loved it!

The Evolution of A&D Luxury Candles
Andreea launched A&D Luxury candles at the end of September 2022. She started out with just a few candle molds and didn’t tell anyone she was making candles. With practice, she is perfecting her craft. Andreea is confident that she has improved a lot in the year since starting her small business. Providing beautiful, quality products is her goal.
“I put passion and love into my candles. I try to provide quality and recycled packages whenever possible. When you buy a candle from me, it’s all about love, not only the product itself.”

Then, she opened her Etsy shop and her Facebook business page.
Now, she has more than 50 candle molds. Her online presence and visibility has resulted in online sells. She now has logo stickers and business cards, and uses recycled packages whenever possible.
A Day in the Life
Like many small business owners, Andreea works a full-time job during the day. Additionally, she has a son, husband, and home to care for. She crafts her candles, fills orders, and does her packing and shipping in the evenings and on the weekends.
